How I got here
My whole working life I've had all sorts of business experience, across different roles, different levels, different kinds of capability. I started out doing VA work, quietly, through referral, and just kept noticing that when I questioned how things ran and why, things worked better.
For the last 5 years, that's meant running the day to day operations for four multi million pound businesses, I am operations manager for another, and I take on ad hoc support for a handful of others when it fits. Business owners trust me with the inner workings of their business. Their bank accounts. Paying out hundreds of thousands of pounds every single week.
Before this I ran a property business with my business partner, Airbnb rentals, and we grew it to nearly £85k turnover in two years. Then my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer, so we closed it and I went back to supporting business owners with their operations.
I am NLP trained, so I ask the questions that actually get to what your business needs, not the ones you think you are supposed to answer.
My work has always been referral based. I built it that way quietly, and stayed fairly invisible about what I actually do. That is changing now, on purpose, because it is time to work with more of the businesses I actually want to work with, and to stop being quiet about what I bring.
